Critical Power Field Technician – Bridgewater NJ
Responsibilities:
- Conduct short circuit studies.
- Assist with Electrical design as needed.
- Assist Commissioning teams when onsite at Customer locations to run tests of critical facility operations
- Follow SOPs and MOPs when testing at critical facility sites.
- Assist with Arc Flash Studies as needed
Qualifications:
- 3-5+ years experience (co-op, internship, or Navy experience)
- Navy Nuke electrician training a HUGE PLUS.
- SUNY Maritime Grads a plus.
- Electrical switchgear / electrical relay training a plus or other Electrical OEM Training a plus.
- Data Center / Mission Critical Facilities Infrastructure experience a plus.
- Experience with Electrical Systems such as power systems design, UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply), Generators, Relays, Switchgears, and Batteries a plus.
- Experience working on complex facilities design, critical infrastructure or for Data Centers Mission Critical projects a plus.
- Ability to successfully work independently or on a team.
- Self Starter, self motivated, and should prioritize well.
